Audi Quattro Concept
Wednesday, November 17th, 2010We here at the Munity aren’t sure if this remake will actually go into production but Audi is really playing with the idea. The concept revealed at the 2010 Paris Motor show was well received. It will be powered (like the original 80′s version) by a turbo-charged straight 5 cylinder engine, AWD, and carbon fiber body parts. It will produce around 400hp. Audi even added the old-school style emblem on the C pillars. Hard to see at first but they’re engraved into the paint. Nice move Audi. Following suite of some great throwbacks – Chevy Camaro, Dodge Charger, the VW Beatle, we think this classic road warrior would do great. We want one.

Friday, September 24th, 2010Maybe the best car video – on the planet.
It is illegal, uncompromising, highly dangerous documentary, shot in one take, without any special effects… as the director starts his car early in the morning and races through Paris with complete disregard for traffic lights, one-way streets, cars, buses and pedestrians – to meet with his wife 8 minutes later in one intensely romantic ending.
This is the map of course.
This the car!

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2010Aston Martin continues to march forward with its One-77. The soon-to-be-ultra-rare hypercar is closer than ever to production, and according to the minds behind its creation, when it hits the street, it will boast the world’s most powerful naturally-aspirated production car engine. With 750 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque, the 7.3-liter V12 is a marvel of automotive and acoustic engineering.
Despite the company’s plans to produce just 77 examples of its halo model, Aston Martin says that it’s bent on making sure that each and every one of the vehicles can stand up to the same level of abuse as the rest of its production fleet. That means that somewhere out there, a One-77 prototype is being flogged in the world’s most brutal climates.
Aston Martin has released the fourth installment of its video series on the One-77, complete with all of the long, slow-motion shots your little heart could possibly desire and a glorious soundtrack. If you’re lucky enough to have secured a One-77 for yourself, the company says that deliveries should begin during the first half of 2011. Hit the jump to take a look and for a quick read over the press release.
